Qalaris
Terms of Service
Effective date: April 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Qalaris platform and the Qalaris Anesthesia product (together, the "Service") operated by Qalaris ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing an account with others, reselling access, or using the Service on behalf of multiple individuals under a single subscription is not permitted.
Please notify us at support@qalaris.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
Paid access is offered on a subscription basis (for example, monthly, quarterly, or annual). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Paddle, Stripe, or a local provider). By subscribing you also agree to the payment provider's terms. Prices and plan features may change; we will notify active subscribers of any price change for renewals via email before it takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. After cancellation your access continues until the end of the current billing period and does not renew afterward.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- copy, redistribute, resell, republish, or share the questions, explanations, analytics, or other content with anyone outside your own use;
- use automated tools to scrape, download, or extract content from the Service;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful to others;
- use the Service to impersonate another person or to misrepresent your affiliation;
- attempt to probe, disrupt, or circumvent the Service's security, rate limits, or access controls;
- use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or the terms of official examination bodies.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Service - including questions, answer explanations, analytics, study materials, trademarks, logos, branding, software, and the overall look and feel - is owned by Qalaris or licensed to us, and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own exam preparation during your subscription period.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (for example, flagged-question comments or support messages). By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Service.
6. Educational disclaimer
The Service is an educational tool for exam preparation. It is not medical advice, clinical decision support, or a substitute for professional judgment, training, or supervised clinical practice. Content is provided for study purposes only.
While our content is reviewed by qualified practitioners, medical knowledge evolves, and occasional errors may occur. You are responsible for verifying critical information against authoritative clinical sources before applying it in any patient-care setting.
7. No guarantee of exam success; independence from exam bodies
We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including that you will pass any examination. Exam outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
Qalaris Anesthesia is an independent educational product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any examination body, licensing authority, medical college, or training organization unless we state so in writing on our website.
8. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, payment providers, email senders, analytics providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Their use of your information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, pose a risk to other users, or engage in fraudulent payment activity. Where reasonable and lawful, we will notify you first. You may close your account at any time by contacting us or using the in-app option if available.
10. Changes to the Service
We are continuously improving the Service. We may add, change, or remove features, content, or plan inclusions over time. We will not make changes that materially reduce an existing subscription's core value without reasonable notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be free of inaccuracies.
To the extent permitted by law, Qalaris's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of study time, loss of data, loss of exam opportunity, or loss of professional opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest version. If a change is material, we will notify active users by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
